These pages were done with the same paints as week 1 and 2. The hearts were punched out with a small heart punch and then glued to the page. The jumping silhouette is from one of my favourite photos. It is a photo of me jumping on the beach, (see it on my Instagram). I edited it in Photoshop, printed it, cut it out and then glued it in my Bible. I also added some fine gold glitter to the pages.

Love God Greatly - Psalm 119 - week 1+2
Blessed are those who keep his testimonies,
who seek him with their whole heart,

I loved doing this Love God Greatly* study. This was the first time I actually read this whole psalm.
This whole psalm is about God's word. It is amazing.
We should meditate on God's word every day, all day and obey Him. it is only when we love and keep His commandments that we can be truly happy. He gives us strength. He gives life. He gives us hope.
Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law. Psalm 119:18
Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; and give me life in your ways. Psalm 119:37
Verse 37 reminded me to keep my eyes focused on Jesus and not look at worthless things. Not only should my eyes be turned away from worthless things, but my ears, hands, tongue and thoughts should alway glorify God. I am a new creation (2 Cor 5:17) old things has passed away. I consider myself dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. (Rom 6:11)

These pages were done with Dala liquid temera (it's pretty much the only paint I have at the moment), black pigment ink pens and a permanent marker. The permanent marker didn't bleed through because of the coat of paint.

{Bible Journaling} Jesus - The Good Shepherd
The Good Shepherd
This is how sheep respond to a good shepherd...
"The sheep hears his voice, and he calls his own by name and leads them out.
when he has brought out all of his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.
A stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers."
John 10:3-5
The good Shepherd lays down his life for his sheep
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
My sheep hear my voice and I know them , and they follow me. John 10:27
My prayer is that I may always hear His voice and follow Him where He leads me. That I will trust in the Lord with all my heart and not lean on my own understanding. Thank you Jesus for leading me and making my paths straight. Help me to not follow only Your voice and flee from all evil. Amen

{bible journaling} He calls all the stars by their names

I love looking at stars. They are absolutely beautiful.
And when I see the incredible colours of a nebula I realise just once again that the heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handywork. (psalm 19) Wow!
"He heals the brokenhearted and He binds up their wounds.
He determines the number of the stars, He gives to all of them their names."
(psalm 147:3-4)
It is amazing that the God who made the stars and gives them all their names, also heals our broken hearts and He binds up our wounds. He is so big and powerful and yet He loves us and cares for us.

I like to make a bookmark of the verse before I actually journal it in my bible. It's a win-win situation..
